Teresa Glass

Teresa Glass, 65, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, April 12, 2015 at her residence. She was born July 14, 1949 to English Elmore and Lillie Mae Frizzell O'Banion. She was retired in loan operations at First Citizens National Bank and a member of First Christian Church. Funeral services for Mrs. Glass will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at The First Christian Church, conducted by Pastor Brian Grow and Pastor Mike Gardner. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Ron Waterman, Cliff Sweat, Tom Palmer, Charlie Seaton, Rawlin Fowlkes and Wayne Broadstone. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Hicks, Larry Anderson, Lynn Brooks, Cecil Armstrong, David Caldwell and Paul Cook. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 14th from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home and beginning at 11:00 am until service time on Wednesday at the First Christian Church. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ronnie Glass; 1 daughter, Shannon Lee Herr (Jonathan) of Dickinson, ND; 1 son, Stephen Glass (Michele) of Bluff City, TN; her mother, Lillie Mae Frizzell O'Banion; 4 sisters, Sharon Eason of Jackson, Denise Barrett (Frank) of Laurel, MS, Deedra Hendry (Robbie) of Soso, MS, Tina Ward of Clearwater, FL; 1 brother, English O'Banion, Jr. (Barbara) of Collierville; 3 grandchildren, Megan Herr, John Herr, Clara Glass; and 1 great-grandchild, Adler Thompson. She was preceded in death by her father, English O'Banion, Sr. The family requests memorials be directed to The First Christian Church Building, 1200 Community Park Road, Dyersburg, TN 38024.
