Mary Helen Pitts Quinley

Mary Pitts Quinley, 79, of Ridgely, formerly of Dyersburg, died Saturday, July 4, 2015 at The Bridge in Ridgely. She was a former housekeeper for the Cotton Mill and the Volunteer Motel. She was born and raised in Finley to her parents who preceded her in death, Edgar "Boss" and Cellia Yarbro Pitts. Funeral services for Ms. Quinley will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Brother Brent Long. Interment will follow in Keefe Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends Monday, July 6th from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Dustin Campbell, Ricky Morgan, Fran K. Tatum, Alex Weaks, Billy Hopper and Michael Williams. She is survived by her son, Gary Michael Moore of Decherd; sister, Henrietta Tatum of Tiptonville; 2 grandchildren, Michael Thomas Moore, Tracy Jane Dudley and 1 great-grandchild, William Thomas Dudley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Doris Pitts, Lucille Pitts, Louise Pitts, Dora Richardson and 1 brother Bobby Pitts.
