Dale Walker

Mr. Dale Walker, 61, of Dyersburg, died Monday, July 20, 2015 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Phillips Street Church of God, 1014 Phillips Street, Dyersburg, TN. Dale was a master craftsman who delighted in working with wood and repairing any item or implement that was broken. He was a driver for Roadway Truck Lines of Jackson, TN; a promoter of Dyersburg Championship Wrestling; and, former owner of The Hickory House. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Phillips Street Church of God conducted by Pastor Robert Davis. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The Walker family will receive visitors Wednesday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Phillips Street Church of God. Survivors include his wife of 44 years Sandra Walker; his daughter, Angela McCord and her husband Tim of Dyersburg; two sons: Allen Walker and wife Daphney of Dyersburg and Addison Walker and wife April of Dyersburg; one sister: Carol Westmoreland of Dyersburg; one brother: Bobby Walker and wife Carolyn of Savannah, TN; eight grandchildren: Brittney Walker, Jessica Walker, Chasity Walker, Abigail Walker, Allison Walker, Kirsti Green, Jayci Green, Rielee Green; and, one great-grandchild: Cadynce Price. He was preceded in death by his mother Polkie Walker; and, his daughter, Ashlee Walker.
