Jimmie Dale Wilson, 68, of Newbern, died Saturday, September 5, 2015, at his residence. He was disabled and a former employee of Dement Construction. He enjoyed off-roads parks and fixing things. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cathy Wilson; 1 daughter, Lois E. Wilson of Newbern; 1 son, Jimmie D. Wilson of Finley; 3 sisters, Shirley Kirby Braddy of Dyersburg, Ruth Ann McCorkle of Columbia, Sandra Marable of Old Hickory; 1 half-brother, Donald Lay of Alabama and 7 grandchildren, Lillian Alexander, Jimmie (J.R.) Wilson, Lucas Wilson, Cody Wilson, Zander Wilson, Hunter Brawley and Evan Fortner. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas and Lois Elaine Andrews Wilson and a brother, Ronnie Wilson.
