Robert "Cotton" Worley

Robert "Cotton" Worley, 77, of Dyersburg, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 at Methodist LeBonheur Germantown Hospital. Born April 27, 1938, to the late Wayne Worley and Louise Worley Lowery, his most precious time was spent as a devoted husband of 56 years, father and grandfather. He was the owner of Worley's Radiator and Auto Repair, and was an active member in the local Dyer County community. Memorial services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2015 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Reverend James Combs. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The Worley family will receive friends Thursday, October 1st from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lee Anna Worley, 4 children, Milly Worley, Becky Gregory and husband, Mike, Chip Worley and wife, Buffy, and Chad Worley and wife, Kim, all of Dyersburg; 6 grandchildren, Drew McCollum, Zada Lee Giles and husband, Jeremy, Rachel Prater and husband, Alan, Lee Gregory, Robert Worley, Maggie Worley and 1 great-granddaughter, Harper Lee Giles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Franklin Worley. The family requests memorials be directed to Dyersburg High School Athletic Booster Club.
