Waynette Leonard, 65, of Dyersburg, died Friday, October 10, 2015 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. Born November 29, 1949 in Dyer County,TN, she was the daughter of the late Earl R. and Nadine Corder Miller. She was a retired nurse at Oakwood Manor for 41 years and a member of Middle City Church of Jesus Christ. Waynette was a volunteer at the Salvation Army. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Brother Jim Ennis with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Todd Edgin, Chico Miller, P. J. Miller, Fernando May, Dion Cross and David Brimm. The family will receive friends Monday, October 12th from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Leonard of Dyersburg; 2 sons, David M. Leonard of Jonesboro, AR, Wil Leonard (Kim) of Gardner, KS; 2 brothers, Dennis R. Miller (Teresa) and Tim Miller, both of Dyersburg.
