Hugh Allen “Hugo” Turnbo, 64, of Dyersburg, died Friday, November 20, 2015 at Oakwood Community Living Center. Born January 25, 1951 in Dyer County, TN, he was the son of the late Hugh and Henrietta Turnbo. He was a retired truck driver and diesel mechanic.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2015 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Reverend William Norman conducting the services Intermentwillo follow in Sorrell’s Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brian Keith White, Sr., Brian Keith White, Jr., Corey Hutchison, James Thomas McCorkle, Sr., James Thomas McCorkle, Jr. and Eugene Allen Cassler.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 21st from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
He is survived by his sister, Pat McCorkle of Dyersburg; 2 nephews, James McCorkle, Jr. of Dyersburg, Brian White of Fowlkes Community; and 2 nieces Patty Faye Hutchison of Friendship and Valerie Cassler of Dyersburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Faye Jean Delaney and Martha Joyce Turnbo.
