Jimmy Joe Mann, 54, of McKenzie, formerly of Dyersburg, passed away December 18, 2015 at Jackson Madison Country General Hospital. He was a chef at the Olympic Steak House for the past 40 years.
He started his career at the Olympic Steak House in Dyersburg with Tom and Susan Sinis. He was recently working with lifelong friend Jimmy Sinis at Old West Steak House in McKenzie. Throughout his career, he worked in several locations where he was well known and liked by many.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Brother Royce McGuire with interment to follow in Lake Hill Memory Gardens in Bethel Springs.
Pallbearers will be Harris Sinis, Mike Gionis, Jimmy Sinis, Nick Dimopoulous and Phil Langley.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 21st from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home. He is survived by his three daughters, Joy Mann of Selmer, Lindsey Mann, Morgan Mann, both of Paris; his parents, Imogene Hurst Mann of Dyersburg and Robert Mann of Samburg; his sister Patricia Sims of Trenton; 3 brothers, Jeff Mann, Tony Mann, Tim Mann (Donna), all of Dyersburg. He also leaves 4 grandchildren, Brylee Mann, Brooklyn Sheffield, Avri Odom, Cody Mann and 5 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Allen Mann.
