Melba C. Walker

Melba C. Walker, 92, of Milan, formerly of Dyersburg, died Monday, May 23, 2016 at NHC Healthcare in Milan.  Born January 15, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Obera Harris Thompson.          She was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2016 Graveside at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.  

She is survived by her daughter, Eula Jane Riddick of Missouri; four grandchildren, Paula Justus, Marcy Kelley, Karrie Kelley, Robert Kelley; ten great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred C. Walker; one daughter, Patricia Kelley; one son, Freddie Walker; one sister, Myria Boyette; two brothers, Harold Thompson, Bill Thompson; and her grandson, Steven Combs.
