Betty J. Jackson

Betty Jane Jackson, 74, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.  Born January 17, 1942 to the late Fred and Flossie McElroy Riggs, she was a homemaker.

                           

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2016 Graveside at Fairview      Cemetery conducted by Brother Pete Putman.                

 

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 7th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

 

She is survived by two daughters, JoAnn Bates (James) of Halls, Beverly Brooks of Dyersburg; two sisters, Mary Putman and Beatrice Miller, both of Dyersburg; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Lewis David Weeks and three brothers, Leroy Riggs, Melvin Riggs and Billy Joe Riggs.
