Betty Jean Gamble, 78, of Tiptonville, died Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Born December 1, 1937 to the late Lester Lee and Annie Mae Howell, she was a homemaker and member of Tiptonville Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. Graveside at New Haven Cemetery with Don Reel conducting the services.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Thursday at the Curry Funeral Home Ridgely Chapel.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred Gamble; three daughters, Barbara Pate (John) of Blytheville, AR, Lorie Marshall of San Antonio, TX, Lisa Garner of Blytheville, AR; three sons, Billy Jackson of Alamo, Bobby Jackson of Tiptonville, Kenneth Jackson of Henning; two sisters, Bonnie Willis of Union City, Hazel Young of Newbern; ten grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Helen Parks, Sylvia Parrott and her brother, Clyde Junior Howell.
