Bill Finley, 75, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis. Born August 29, 1941 to the late Faye Wheeler Finley and Maxine Evans Finley, he was a retired sales manager for Kalium Chemical Company. Bill was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, president of the Dyersburg Municipal Golf Association and president of Pioneer Lake Association. His family and his grandson were his greatest treasures. A gracious and generous man, he was loved and admired by all who knew him. Bill was an avid golfer, hunter and horse enthusiast.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rodgers Menzies, Eddie Davis, Johnny Burks, Harry Kaplan, Charles Dawson, Jim Horner, Jimmy Borden, Haskins Ridens, Ralph Henson, Len Orr, Moe Blalock, Porter Ryland and Claude Lecklitner.
The Finley family will receive visitors Saturday, September 10th from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.
A Celebration of Life service will be immediately following the visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Gary Meade. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Daisi Menzies Finley; two sons, John Wheeler Finley of Knoxville, William Allen Finley (Rodney Hudgen) of Baltimore, MD; one grandson, Landon Allen Finley of Knoxville; and his half-sister, Mindy Collins of Dyersburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Burkhardt and one brother, James Evans Finley.
