Barbara Baxter Staggs

Barbara Staggs, 63, of Tiptonville, died Wednesday, October 05, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare – Dyersburg Regional. Born September 10, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Lonzo and Lydia Hinson Baxter. She was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2016 in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Reverend Jimmy Goodman and Reverend Robert Mann with interment to follow in New Haven Cemetery.   

Pallbearers will be Troy Mathina, Jason Haggard, Clyde Staggs, Michael Butler, Dallas Marsh and Jared Callens.

The family will receive friends Friday, October 7th beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde Staggs, Sr.; one daughter, Melissa Staggs; one son, Clyde Staggs, Jr., all of Wynnburg; two sisters, Betty Hays of  Bogota, Bonnie McClain of Wynnburg; one brother, David Baxter of Wynnburg; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Lewis Ray Staggs.
