Doris McFarland

Doris V. McFarland, 92, of DeKalb, IL, formerly of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Living Center in DeKalb, IL. Born June 26, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Vera Ozment Woods. She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Fairview Cemetery.   

The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

She is survived by four daughters, Glenda Olsen, Sarah Weeks (Wayne), Dinah Parman, Susan Sepulveda; one son, Jimmie McFarland; eleven grandchildren, Janae (Tony) Bullocks, Kacey Weeks, Leroy (Lisa) Olsen, Lori (Jerry) Wesley, Jimmy (Gladys) McFarland, Billy McFarland, Kenny (Cindi) Willis, Keith (Scotti) Willis, Eric Sepulveda, Adam Sepulveda, Dayna Sepulveda; and twelve great-grandchildren, Courtney Weeks, Michael Bullock, Valerie Olsen, Emma Knorr, Danielle Wesley, Jerry Wesley, Camber Wesley, Autumn Willis and Danielle Sepulveda, Zack McFarland, Matthew McFarland and Manny McFarland.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glyn M. McFarland; one step brother, Floyd Woods; grandmother, Ella Ozment; father and mother-in-law, Ozzie and Sallie McFarland; great grandson, Darren Olsen; step brother, Floyd Woods, three son in laws, Danny Sepulveda, Leroy Olsen, Daryl Parman; daughter in law, Nancy McFarland; two sister in laws, Jane McCowan, Patricia McBride and brother in law, Bud McBride.
