Maxine Kindle Harris, 71, of Dyersburg, died Monday, December 26, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional Hospital. Born January 8, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Thelma Reed Armstrong. She worked at the Silver Castle Cafe for over 20 years and retired from Colonial Rubber. She was a Baptist.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Reverend Ronnie Turner with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Willis, Stan Throgmorton, Jason Turnbo, John Turnbo, Tim Davis and Robert Turnbo.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 27th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Bivens of Dyersburg, Angela Davis of Newbern; one son, Tony Kindle of Dyersburg; two sisters, Judy Deven of Indiana, Tammy Peacock of Alabama; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Harris.
