Peggy Craft Mayfield, 69, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, December 31, 2016, at her residence. Born April 25, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Ellen Austin Craft. She was retired from Dyersburg City Schools where she was a speech pathologist and Golf Coach. She previously worked at Dyer County High School. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Acts 29 Sunday School Class.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Fairview Cemetery conducted by Reverend Ed White and Reverend Dell King.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 5th from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church sanctuary.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Mayfield; three daughters, Tish Riley Roney (Jay) of Nashville, Nikki Riley Rogers (Jeremy) of Dyersburg, Ruthanne Mayfield Szenasi (Scott) of Huntsville, AL; one sister, Brenda Henderson (David) of Plainville, MA; 12 grandchildren: Kaylee, Tucker, Tyler, Aiden, Austyn, Lincoln, Carter, Reagan, Ellie, Aidan, Asa, Ethan and her step-mother, Jean Craft of Springfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Rhonda Mayfield West.
