Mary Margaret Allison, 73, of Hornbeak, died Monday, January 16, 2017 at Reelfoot Manor and Rehabilitation in Tiptonville. Born September 29, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Vance Lee and Marion Rose Douthit Butler. She was a retired from a garment factory and a former member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2017 in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Brother Archie Larry with interment to follow in Crockett Chapel Cemetery in Tiptonville.
Pallbearers will be John Neil, Jaxon Neil, Anthony Varanelli, Ronnie Hays, W.C. Hollingsworth, Bubba Henson and Benny Long.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 18th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by two daughters, Susan Henderson (Mike), Lori Patterson, both of Hornbeak; one brother, Ronny Butler of Hornbeak; four grandchildren, Nicholas Ethridge, Heather Stover, Joshua Patterson, Chelsie Patterson; and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Allison; one daughter, Cynthia Rose Patterson, one granddaughter, Cynthia Patterson; one sister, Jeanette Hutcheson; and three brothers, Jimmie Butler, Franklin Butler and Donnie Butler.
