Martha Buchanan Eskridge

Martha Buchanan Eskridge, 78, of Atoka, died Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. Born February 23, 1938, she was the daughter of Grady and Lola Scott Buchanan.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2017 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 7th beginning at 12 Noon until service time at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, James Eskridge of Atoka; two daughters, Dena Warth (Tony) of Atoka, Cindy Eskridge of Trussville, AL; one son, Marty Eskridge of Alachua, FL; one sister, Darlene Myers of Dyersburg; seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Richard Eskridgea and two brother, J.C. Buchanan and Gerald Buchanan.
