Ben Leary

Ben Leary, 82, of Tiptonville, died Friday, February 24, 2017 at his residence. Born February 3, 1935, he was the son of the late Jessie and Relmer Smith Leary.  He was a self-employed Concrete Contractor.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 27, 2017 in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Brother Larry Duke with interment to follow in New Haven Cemetery.   

Pallbearers will be Mark Fiorita, Nick Johnson, Rick Johnson, Rocky Johnson, Adam Perdue and Stephen Mead.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 27th beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Vicki Leary; three daughters, Lynn Morse (Barry) of Houston, TX, Dean’na Fiorita (Mark) of Mt. Juliet, Jessica Leary of Milton, FL; two sons, Tim Leary (Dede) of Moro, IL, Greg Leary (Bobbi) of Jefferson City, MO; two sisters, Imogene Johnson (Joe) of Springville, Addie Mead (Jack) of Alton, IL; eight grandchildren, Erin Cummins, Angela Collier, Jenni Perdue, Abby Morse, Nick Morse, Olivia Morse, Shelby Leary, Atticus Fiorita and two great-grandchildren, Gunnar Perdue and Wesley Perdue.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Leary.

The family requests memorials be directed to the charity of donor’s choice.
