Betty L. Autry

Betty L. Autry, 88, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional. Born August 31, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Chester Lee and Agnes H. Tharwar Goens.  She was a retired supervisor at Heckethorn and a member of Church Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Church Grove Baptist Church conducted by Reverend Ronnie Turner with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.   

Pallbearers will be Donnie Thompson, Charles Copeland, Jake Copeland, Bryan Keith Autry, Jimmy Hanna, Travis Odom and Bobby Fite.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 7th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

She is survived by five daughters, Marilyn Hanks of Dyersburg, Carolyn Harris (Jimmy), Kathy Thompson (Donnie) both of Paducah, KY, Sue Breeded, Shirley Nichols, both of Milan; one son, Keith Autry (Vicky) of Dyersburg; eight grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; five sisters and one brother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
