Joe C. Styers, Jr.

Joe C. Styers, Jr, 68, died Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional. Born February 8, 1949, he was the son of the late J.C. “Foot” Styers and Virginia Berkley Styers.

Joe was a lifetime member of Lenox Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 9, 2017 Graveside at Fairview Cemetery conducted by Brother Don Williams and Brother Rudy Ring.

Pallbearers will be Brad Studard, David Haddock, Randy Prince, Gage Teeter, Joe Wood and Ryan Wood.

The family will receive friends Sunday beginning at 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. at Curry Funeral Home.

He is survived by two sisters: Lois Dale Rigsby of Dyersburg, TN and Paulette Styers Wells (John), of Kansas City, MO; two nephews: John S. Wells and Ricky Phillips (Rhee); one niece: Leslie Wells Wansing (Kevin); one great-nephew: Troy Wansing; and three great-nieces: Emma Phillips, Rachel Phillips, and Olivia Wansing.
