David McFarland

David McFarland, 63, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional. Born June 30, 1953, he was the son of the late Lester and Corinne McFarland.  He was retired as a Correctional Officer for the State of Tennessee.  David was a lifetime member of Northside Church of Christ.   

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Rick Willis and Parks Thurmon with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.  

Pallbearers will be Joey Wood, Carl Schultz, Spence Lowery, David Brown, Sammy Loman and Taylor Anderson. 

The family will receive friends Monday, May 15th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.                                    

He is survived by his wife, Joyce McFarland; and one son, Chad McFarland of Arlington.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sheila McFarland Lockman.
