Jannie Kirby

     Jannie Kirby, 81, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, August 24, 2017 at her residence. Born June 18, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Grover and Virginia Kathleen Briley Lee. She was a homemaker and retired from retail sales at J.C. Penney's.  She was a member of Three Oaks Baptist Church.
     Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 2017 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Reverend Bill Phipps with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
     Pallbearers will be Andrew Ball, Joseph Ball, Jason McVey, Chad Kirby, Blake Kirby, Justin Roberson, Oscar Starks and Stephen Roberson.
     The family will receive friends Saturday, August 26th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
     She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Blair (Steve), Debbie Scott, both of Dyersburg; one son, Robert Kirby (Tina) of Dyersburg; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Eugene Kirby (12/22/03), one brother, John Lee, and Son-in- Law David Scott.
