Bobby Dean Lloyd, Sr.

Bobby Dean Lloyd, Sr., 75, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional Hospital.   Born August 17, 1942, he was the son of the late Homer, Sr. and Beulah Lindsey Lloyd.  He retired as Postmaster from Gates, but was previously Postmaster at Bogota.  He was a former data analyst at Colonial Rubber. He was a member of Fowlkes Baptist Church.               Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2018 officiated by Dr. Johnny Lloyd at Fairview Cemetery.                           

Family and friends are asked to gather at 12:30 p.m. at the mausoleum at Fairview Cemetery.                                                

He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Lloyd Wallace (James Michael) of Newbern; two grandchildren, Kaitlin Lloyd Gourley (Robert Blake), Kamryn L. Pontius; and two great-grandchildren, Kylie A. Gourley, Rowan Quinn Gourley; three sisters, Pat Rodman of West Helena, AR, Sue Lloyd Bishop of Palestine, AR, Etta Marie Wade of Forest City, AR; and two brothers, Walter Lloyd and Dr. Johnny Lloyd, both of Little Rock, AR.                                                                 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Hartsfield Lloyd; his son, Bobby Dean Lloyd, Jr.; one sister, Betty Jo Webster and two brothers, Homer Lloyd, Jr. and Billy Ray Lloyd.
