Don C. Morgan

Don C. Morgan, 91, of Dyersburg, died Friday, July 6, 2018 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.   Born September 18, 1926, he was the son of the late Onnie and Wynema White Morgan.  He was a retired restaurant owner and a member of Seventh Day Adventist. Don proudly served his country in the United States Army.                                        

Funeral services will be Monday, July 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Ed Horner.  Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.                            

William Bruner, Brian Morgan, Tim Bryant, Mike Fisher, Bradley Morgan, and Hunter Miller will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Brandon Morgan.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 9th beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Sue Morgan; two sons, Mike Morgan and wife Vicki of Dyersburg, Mark Morgan of Dyersburg; one daughter,Tracy Bacigalupo and husband Tony of Dyersburg; seven grandchildren, Wendy Hammon (Ed), Brian Morgan (Donna), Brandon Morgan, Bradley Morgan (Amy), Brittney Bruner (William), Sandy Tarkington (Robert) and Erica Morgan King (Sean); twenty great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Michelle Hayden Morgan of Dyersburg.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Donald Wayne “Duck” Morgan; and his daughter, Janie Sue Morgan.
