Timothy D. Poyner

Timothy D. Poyner, 49, of Ridgely, died Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Union City.   Born March 27, 1969, he was a diesel mechanic at David’s Diesel and Equipment in Troy.  He was a member of Midway Baptist Church.                                       

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church in Hornbeak, officiated by Reverend Carl Southerland.  Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery.                            

Bruce Poyner, Corey Poyner, Jimmy Young, David McCullough, Chris McCullough and James Elks will serve as pallbearers. 

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 19th beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly Poyner of Ridgely; his parents, Dwayne and Shirley Poyner of Ridgely; three daughters, Nicole Poyner (Leo Stephenson) of Hickman, KY, Brittany Poyner (James Elks) of Samburg, Courtney Hardy (Shwun) of Decatur, IL; one son, Bruce Poyner (Amanda) of Hickman, KY; one sister, Joye Young (Jimmy) of Ridgely; and fourteen grandchildren.
