JW Russell

J.W. “Bill” Russell, 69 of Liberty, MS, formerly of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS.  Born August 4, 1949 to the late J.W., Sr. and Lois Violet Williams Russell, he was retired from Shell Pipeline.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2018 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Dickie Tinkle with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Dickie Tinkle, Jacob Russell, Chance Russell, Britt Russell, Taylor Russell, John Akers and Adam Yants will serve as pallbearers. 

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 18th beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.                                   

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Beverly L. Russell; two sons Britt Ian Russell of Dyersburg, Jacob Gavin Russell of Liberty, MS; ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; sister, Debbie Joyce Harris of Dyersburg; and nephew, William Harris of Dyersburg.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Shawn DeLise New and one son, J. Lynn Russell.
