Randy Franklin Patterson, Sr.

Randy Franklin Patterson, Sr., 61, of Arlington, TX, formerly of Dyersburg, died Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Arlington Memorial Hospital.  Born February 6, 1957, he was the son of the late Bennie, Sr. and Sarah Joyce Tidwell Patterson.  Randy was a member of First United Pentecostal Church and a former roofing inspector.  He was a Mason. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 28, 2018 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Reverend John Morris with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Randy Patterson, Jr., Rickie Tidwell, Duwane Patterson, Scotty Summers, Alex Summers, Keith Bell, Braxton Dorse, Michael Shane Patterson, Michael Chad Patterson and Jeffery Patterson, III will serve as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends Thursday, September 27th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.                                    He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Ozment Patterson; two daughters, Gena Patterson (Keith Bell) of Arlington, TX, Charley Harris of Dyersburg; one son, Randy Patterson, Jr. of Arlington, TX; two grandchildren, Randy Patterson, III, Franklin Patterson; three brothers, Bennie Patterson (Nancy), Jeff Patterson, Sr., both of Dyersburg, Keith Patterson of Azle, TX; three step-daughters, Carol Leigh Griffin (Manuel) of Burke, VA, Carrie Griffin Monica (Nickie) of Baton Rouge, LA, Katie Ebner (Sean) of Lafayette, LA; and four step-grandchildren, Preslie Ebner, Reid Ebner, Owen Monica and Ella Grace Monica. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Tammy Patterson and his daughter, Kimberly Gail Patterson.
