Edna Jane Hollis

Edna Jane Hollis, 86, of Bogota, died Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Signature Healthcare in Ridgely.  Born December 12, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Alton and Myrtle Sales. She was a homemaker and attended Ridgely First Pentecostal Church.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2018 in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Burt Burkett with interment to follow in Elbridge Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home.

She is survived by her two daughters, Marcie Paris (Frank Jones) of Dyersburg, Rita Faye Hollis of Bogota; two grandchildren, Chad Paris of Ripley, Danny Mills of Jackson; two great-grandchildren, Chad Paris, Jr. and Ann Elizabeth Paris; and one brother, James Franklin Sales of McKenzie.  

Chad Paris, Chad Paris, Jr., Kenneth Allen, Jerry Marks, Craig Ferebee and Larry Wiggins will serve as pallbearers.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W. R. Hollis; grandchild, Roger Dale Mills; and three sisters, Jessie Marie Lynch, Georgia Aline Milif, Effie Sales.
