Judy Nunnery, 88, of Ridgely, died Saturday, May 29, 2021 at her residence. Born May 1, 1933, she was the daughter of the late A.C. and Madge Clark Chadwick. She was a member of Ridgely First United Methodist Church and a former employee at Caldwell’s Clothing Store in Ridgely. Ms. Judy has been the hostess at Curry Funeral Home Ridgely Chapel since 1994. She showed her love and dedication to the families we served daily and she will be missed tremendously. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 in the Ridgely Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Pastor David Horne with interment to follow in New Haven Cemetery. Ashley Smith, Michael Nunnery, Matthew Pease, Kent Patterson, Trent Patterson, and Tony Bargery will serve as pallbearers. She is survived by her two daughters, Elaine Smith (Wilford) of Covington, Kelly Pease (Kenny) of Dyersburg; one son, Mike Nunnery (Lucretia) of Hazelhurst, MS; four grandchildren, Ashley Smith, Michael Nunnery, Emilee Pease, Matthew Pease; three great-grandchildren, Luke Dye, Greyson Pease, Rowan Nunnery and her sister, Virginia Weems. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Nunnery; two grandchildren, Taylor Emily Smith, Charlie Nunnery; two sisters, Hazel Chadwick, Helen Speltz; and two brothers, Joe Chadwick and A.C.
